Dear Class Four Parents

I am writing to inform you that Mrs McCann has recently discovered she needs an operation. A date has been offered at short notice for this Wednesday.

She will require a couple of weeks recuperation. I have arranged for Mrs Reid to teach the class during this time. Mrs Reid knows the year six group well and is familiar with the year fives. Mrs Reid has liaised with Mrs McCann so that disruption is minimised.

I am sure you will join me in wishing Mrs McCann well and a speedy recovery.
